I like the texture of the noodles. They don't become soft and mushy. The package don't say how much of it is actually millet Flavour wise it is similar to the regular Maggi noodles. The portion is very little though. 30 grams is counted as 1 serving while a normal ₹15 Maggi packet is 70 grams. Also, I ordered 3 of the Pack of 4s expecting 12 individual packets. I got 3 large packs that said each packet serves 8 people. I just finished 1/4 of the large packet myself. 2 servings is still less than a regular Maggi packet.
Healthy alternative to regular noodles – tasty and lightI recently tried Slurrp Farm Millet Noodles (Mild Masala) and it turned out to be a great healthy alternative to regular instant noodles. The fact that it’s made with millets and has no maida makes it a better choice, especially for kids and health-conscious people. The taste is mild and not too spicy, which I personally liked. It’s perfect if you prefer light flavors or are buying for children. The masala has a subtle desi taste, and you can always add your own veggies or spices to enhance it.Cooking is quick and easy, just like regular noodles. The texture is slightly different (a bit softer than Maida noodles), but still enjoyable. If you’re looking for a healthier noodle option without compromising too much on taste, this is definitely worth trying. Great for everyday light meals!Healthy and tasty alternative to regular noodles. Mild masala flavour is perfect for light eating, though spice lovers may find it a bit bland. Good option for kids and daily use! 👍
I know this is unlike Maggi but better than Maggie health wise and trust me i have been a loyal customer to slurp farm instant noodles because once i was a Maggie loverThis time i can see improvement in noodle cake it was long and thin. Also one more tip don’t make it boring add veggies or enhance according to your taste you will like it lot better rest is your choice!JUST FOLLOW THE COOKING INSTRUCTIONS MENTIONED!I add tomatoes puri and make it tangYou will end up having long and think just like Maggi! Trust me
When I first saw this product, I had imagined - great, a replacement for Maggie is finally here. Boy, was I wrong...This is a regular noodle, made from a mixture of Jowar (at least 36%) + Wheat (54%), instead of wheat alone. This noodle takes 8 minutes of boiling + 1 additional minute with the seasoning. So it doesn't help, if you are in a rush. The seasoning was tapioca based and it thickened the noodle, when added. I don't know, how adding additional starch makes this noodle healthier? What will absolutely prevent this from becoming a replacement to Maggie is the pricing. Individual pack costs Rs 35, and it's only 50grams of noodles (I am guessing the packaging is 7grms as the packaging is thick and good quality)...For Rs 36, you can buy 3 packs of 70grams Maggie, so majority of those who eat Maggie out of compulsion - say students in hostels, will not be able to afford this product on a regular basis. Now, coming to taste - this has almost half the salt than Maggie seasoning, so definitely much healthier. But, those who like typical Indian masala dishes may not actually like it, as it comes across as being bland.
Delicious yummy.
Too good to be true
Way healthy than other noodles. Taste is also good.
Overpriced
Excellent Quality But Maida Was There No Whole Wheat Taste .
Healthy product
Sorry to say, but this one from Slurrp has disappointed a lot 😞 taste, texture, cooking time- none of the aspects are satisfying. Even the quantity per pack is way too less but anyway can’t eat much of this. Reading the ingredient list felt really good but I think the texture part needs work. Hope it gets better
Better to eat this instead of others full of MSG. Lakes little in taste. They have mentioned to add 300ml of water & 8 minutes of cooking time, but after 3 experiments I realized that 250ml is sufficient for a pack bz even after cooking for 8 min, it still very watery. so use 250ml water.Other thing I would like to point out is quality of spice pack given. It doesn't stay in powder form for longer. 2 of 8 packs caught moisture & the spice pack got hardened & i litterally had to crush it to mix it. Quantity of the spice masala may be improved please.
Namaste , so i ordered this great stuff post reading healthy reviews here n wasn't disappointed..Looks n feels the same though one can't eat it raw like Maggi 😁.Also , it's a bit on the higher side . Wish prices get reduced fir me to order more n more .PS;- slurpp guys kindly increase the taste element. I had to add many sauces . Plz
It takes much more time to cook. And that should be understandable since it isn’t maida. But the taste isn’t very good either. Honestly, while it’s great it has all its benefits and everything. It’s overpriced and not that tasty. If you want anything healthy, just buy plain rolled oats and make masala oats. Add vegetables and your own spices. That being said, that’s my opinion. You can still try it and if your taste buds agree and you don’t worry about the price ; it is in fact a much better alternative for maggi.
Would give taste 3.5 stars, its different, first 3 bites i was confused is to what i am eating, but u get used to it maybe it's coz we all ate maggie only and this one's totally differentThe company seriously need to increase quantity a little bit coz its very smallThe masala pouch was large which was nice but the original product is smallOnly ordered this coz its healthy so well GG, going to try other flavours but plz increase the size will give 5 stats
