Frequently Asked Questions
How is muesli different from granola?
Granola is baked with oil and syrup into clusters, which makes it sweeter and heavier. Muesli is a loose mix of flakes, fruit and nuts with no added sugar here, so it eats lighter and lets the grains and nuts come through.
What is in it?
Around 75% whole oats and multigrains — wheat, corn and rice flakes alongside peanut butter oats — with raisins, almond slices and coconut making up most of the rest. There is also soya protein, a little salt and vitamin E.
What allergens does this contain?
This product contains wheat, gluten, oats, soya, almonds, peanuts and sulphites. Anyone with an allergy to these ingredients, or with coeliac disease, should not consume this product. Please read the full ingredient list carefully before purchasing, particularly when buying on behalf of someone else.
What does “zero added sugar” mean here?
No sugar has been added during making. The 6g of sugar per 100g comes from the raisins themselves, which are naturally sweet. Most breakfast cereals carry considerably more, much of it added.
How do I eat it?
With hot or cold milk, as you would any cereal, or stirred through yoghurt. A 40g serving is roughly four tablespoons. Once opened, move it to an airtight container and use within a couple of weeks for the best texture.
